Job Description
Programme duration: 4 years, starting Early September 2025
Job location: Leeds with travel to Appris college
Hours: Year 1 full time college placement, years 2-4 college placement with day release to site.
Salary: Starting on £23,810 per year with annual salary reviews

Study support: You will attend Appris College, working towards the Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician, with the potential for further study at Level 4 or higher.
As an Engineer Apprentice you will:
Safely complete a variety of engineering practical tasks and jobs to support your college learning and personal development on the programme
Work alongside Technicians to complete intrusive, planned & preventative maintenance schedules (PM’s)
Support Technicians with breakdown maintenance across all production lines
Be responsible for timely completion of information within the computer-based maintenance programme (52-week plans)
Learn about the business, soft drinks, and manufacturing; learning from others’ experience and knowledge with a clear vision about where we’re going and who we want to be.
You'll learn through a combination of:
Studying for the Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician, delivered by Appris College (Year 1: Full-time college placement)
Comprehensive Carlsberg Britvic training, and continuous ongoing support.
Applying everything you learn into real-world practice on the job.
Wider career development and coaching, and a comprehensive catalog of optional learning modules. Potential for further study at level 4 or above through the college.
What you'll need:
Minimum level 4 GCSE in Maths and English GSCE (or equivalent)
Curiosity to learn, and commitment to all aspects of study for the Level 3 qualification
A Technical mindset with an interest in how things work, along with a passion for engineering
Excellent creative problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn and the ability to use your own initiative.
Strong communication skills and teamwork skills.
